For newcomers, our meetup will be at Starbucks, every second Monday of each month starting at 8:00 pm (or whatever time you can make it). Startbucks is located at the corner of Yonge & Davisville, on the North East corner. The meetup will be on the SECOND FLOOR*, which you can find by following the green signs (the hallway to your left when you walk in the front door.) We'll be relaxing in our own PRIVATE room, and chatting with new people and old friends (look for the sign on the table that says "MEETUP").

Looking forward to seeing you there,

Keith

A wonderful support group, with good intelligent people willing to listen and talk and share their symptoms, medications and experiences. Cheers to Keith for setting it up, and look forward to seeing you next month! Thanks, Frances Hayday

Looking forward to sharing my positive experiences with a good psychiatrist and good drugs with other sufferers. - Frances Hayday

Had a bad week. Could not motivate myself in mornings. Missed social activies and did not exercise. Doctor said I had to stay on medication, despite its sedative effects. Weight gain troublesome.

    •  I enjoyed the group. Everyone is intelligent, thoughtful, and willing to share their symptoms, lifestyle, and treatment. I learned a lot. Since I was the only one there who has ADHD and Bipolar together, I would like to recommend my psychiatrist, Dr. Stephen Sibalis, who specializes in both. His no. is 4l6-923-8666. He works from a private office at Bloor and Avenue Road. He does his diagnosis from a 500-questionnaire on-line, for which he charges, but then works on OHIP. He is the only shrink I have ever met who will take your call or page, day or night in an emergency, and answer within minutes in an emergency, or even if not. He is a wonderful doctor, and a wonderful, compassionate man. I have been through a lot of shrinks, and he is the tops. He really listens, and believes the patient knows their body the best. He is always willing to listen and consider if you want to change drugs, and most often is willing to give another drug a try if you have done your homework on it.
