DIRECTIONS (SHORT VERSION):
located at 117 Bloor (south side) east of Yonge
press security button at the door and enter
take the elevator to the 3rd floor
go to the last room along the hallway to the right

DIRECTIONS (DETAILED):
get off the subway at Yonge and Bloor
walk eastward on Bloor along the south side
it's just a minute or two walk so don't go too far.
it is not a "traditional" church building but is in a "regular" building
there is a sign of course at the entrance.
press the security button at the door if it is locked and security will let you in.
take the elevator to the 3rd floor. There is a short hallway straight ahead and to the right.
we are in the "lounge" which is the last door.
There will be a sign that says "MEETUP" with an arrow posted on one of the doors that you can see when you get off the elevator.

DIRECTIONS (ALTERNATE / PARKING):
There is another entrance on Hayden Street which is just south of bloor.
There is an undedrground parking garage next to it and there are about 10 free spots reserved for the church on the right hand side as soon as you drive down the ramp.
You will have to press the button before you go in the garage and tell security you're with St. Andrew's Church.
The church entrance from the parking lot is right beside the parking spaces and you must press the button at the door and tell security you're with St. Andrew's Church again.
take the elevator to the third floor as posted above.............

There are a few conditions to using this meeting space:
1) Please respect the fact that this is a church and use language that is appropriate.
2) The furniture can not be moved but we can use chairs to add more seating
3) NO FOOD or COFFEE in the room, only water please. You can have coffee outside the room in the "common" area near the elevator if you wish.

Looking forward to seeing all of you there,

Keith

Who attended?

  • 22 attendees
    •  The group is another part of family and I so glad that I have this part in my life, Its teaching me that its ok to let go and be able to laugh at me. I had the best time last night. Wish you all the best and I so looking foward to seeing you in the new year.
    •  That was a valuable meeting and I enjoyed it so much.
    •  Love the new location, hope we can stay there! :D Didn't really like the idea of the presentation (not so much the content), simply b/c i value the fact that this is usually a group of peers, no professionals included, and as such, is casual, informal, very democratic, and welcoming. As it has been up until now, we are all on the same level. There are other organizations in Toronto that offer lectures and information seminars on topics such as nutrition, pharmacology, psychiatric therapies, etc. like CAMH, which are very good, and I could see us organizing "offshoot outings" for groups of those who would like to go check those out. Just my two cents.....
